THE "ADOPTIONS" LIST WILL BE ROTATED QUARTERLY, HENCE THE REASON WHY YOU WOULD NOW SEE FOUR (4) MONTHS UNDER THE "ADOPTIONS" LIST. ADOPTERS/ADOPTEES ARE TO BE CHANGED EVERY THREE MONTHS (3) IF YOU CANNOT REMEMBER THE PROCEDURE PLEASE RE-READ THE "HOW TO JOIN" PAGE.

Can I remind people that this group is NOT, I repeat NOT here just for the advancement of peoples Pageviews or Devwatchers or whatever, or for gaining popularity. It is about LEARNING and EXPANDING your skills and artwork within ur chosen field. Its also about FRIENDSHIP with ur adopter or adoptee and about learning more about what it means to be a part of this incredible community that is DeviantArt.

Anyone who is found to be abusing this group will be removed from it. There are plenty of people desperate to get adopted for the right reasons.


When Deviant Members request to become Adoptees via Notes, you automatically appear on the Adoptees list. Management does not reply to EVERY member letting them know their on the list due to the fact there is a great demand for adopters and the adoptees list is very long right now.

How To Join?: NEW RULES


When Applying in subject state either Adopter/Adoptee. NOTHING ELSE!

BOTH Adopters/Adoptees must write a 1 paragraph essay in order to join. Stating: Why you want to join, In what way you can help (if you are an Adopter), The category of art you are into and What you would like your partner to be like.

Once a match is found you would be paired within 24 hours.

DO NOT Apply more than once. We will attend to everyones requests.

To become an Adopter you must have AT LEAST 4,000 pageviews. The only way we will make an exception is after reviewing your gallery and seeing a high quality of work where we see you are equipt to mentor someone and we will give it the OK!. ALL adopter are granted maximum 3 Adoptees.

To become an Adoptee all you have to do is be open for learning new things, enthusiastic, willing to learn and have fun!!!

ALL Adopters/Adoptees have a period of TWO months to be paired starting from today. However, IF the Adopter sees improvement before the time is up, they can settle their partnership and he/she can now adopt someone else new who needs the guidance. IF the Adoptee needs more time in learning we can grant them an extention.

Adopters/Adoptees now have the privilege of dropping their partner for reasons such as: 1. The Adopter/Adoptee is NEVER/HARDLY online. 2. The Adoptee in your opinion never seems to want advise or help in anyway. 3. If you think your styles are different. 4. You simply dont get along. 5. The time difference makes it difficult for you all to communicate. However NOTE GC first and let us know how your complaint and changes you want us make.

We the Admin of GC appoint pairs.WHY? because we see the order in which the notes come, hence the reason for us putting it in our journal so you can also see we are being fair. We also go through both the Adopter and Adoptee to be gallery to TRY our best to come up with a match.

We welcome collabs between Adopters and Adoptees and will always feature work created this way.

ADDING GC TO YOUR DEVWATCH IS A MUST.THIS WAY YOU WILL ALWAYS BE UP TO DATE WITH ANY CHANGES, NEW RULES, EVENTS, ETC. Please take time to read the journals posted, they will contain important news and information.
