How To Join?: NEW RULES

When Applying in subject state either Adopter/Adoptee. NOTHING ELSE!

BOTH Adopters/Adoptees must write a 1 paragraph essay in order to join. Stating: Why you want to join, In what way you can help (if you are an Adopter), The category of art you are into and What you would like your partner to be like.

Once a match is found you would be paired within 24 hours.

DO NOT Apply more than once. We will attend to everyones requests.

To become an Adopter you must have AT LEAST 4,000 pageviews. The only way we will make an exception is after reviewing your gallery and seeing a high quality of work where we see you are equipt to mentor someone and we will give it the OK!. ALL adopter are granted maximum 3 Adoptees.

To become an Adoptee all you have to do is be open for learning new things, enthusiastic, willing to learn and have fun!!!

ALL Adopters/Adoptees have a period of TWO months to be paired starting from today. However, IF the Adopter sees improvement before the time is up, they can settle their partnership and he/she can now adopt someone else new who needs the guidance. IF the Adoptee needs more time in learning we can grant them an extention.

Adopters/Adoptees now have the privilege of dropping their partner for reasons such as: 1. The Adopter/Adoptee is NEVER/HARDLY online. 2. The Adoptee in your opinion never seems to want advise or help in anyway. 3. If you think your styles are different. 4. You simply dont get along. 5. The time difference makes it difficult for you all to communicate. However NOTE GC first and let us know how your complaint and changes you want us make.

We the Admin of GC appoint pairs.WHY? because we see the order in which the notes come, hence the reason for us putting it in our journal so you can also see we are being fair. We also go through both the Adopter and Adoptee to be gallery to TRY our best to come up with a match.

We welcome collabs between Adopters and Adoptees and will always feature work created this way.

ADDING GC TO YOUR DEVWATCH IS A MUST.THIS WAY YOU WILL ALWAYS BE UP TO DATE WITH ANY CHANGES, NEW RULES, EVENTS, ETC. Please take time to read the journals posted, they will contain important news and information.

I would like to join Guidance-Counseling because I feel that I need to further advance my skills as a photographer. I have just recently taken up the hobby and find that I don't know much about what I have gotten into. I do a lot of Photo Manipulations but I also do normal pictures as well. I would like my partner to be kind. They should have a lot of wisdom about photography and be able to offer help when needed.

I would like to join this group because i feel it is imperative for me to advance my skills as an artist. i feel that by recieving comments from others, and by being connected to a group such as this, i can learn more and improve my work. I do photography, and i feel it would be good for me to experience another photographer's view on my work, and have someone to critique my own work with. want a partner who tells me exactly what bothers them about my art, and why. if they like it, they say so. if they dont like it, they tell me why and how i can improve on it. no sugarcoating. i would also like a fellow photographer to be my partner.

You do not necessarily have to have 4000 views to become an adopter.
If you are interested in becoming one, we will look at your gallery and decide.

I didn't understand if this is a place to post this but here goes:

I want to become an adoptee because I really need some help with digital colouring and I need some advice as far as it goes with anatomy. And love to know how a real pro (or atleast someone with more experience) sees stuff in perspective. In addition, I love to make friends and I think that a pelarionship between me and somebody else would be of interest to both sides.

I'd like to be put in the anime/anthro group.

i would absolutely love to get teh chance to have someone help me with digital art on teh computer. i have paint shop pro 9 that i found downstairs adn put it on my computer so i could atleast fill stuff in, but thats all i know how to do! it shows too. i feel that if i am ever to become a better artist, i need to improve my skills with digital art. if you would be so kind as to put me in teh digital art section as an adaptee, i would apreciate it so much!

This whole idea is brilliant, I adore it. The things that can become of shareing thoughts and ideas and notions with another... the possiblities are endless. Its like an amazing exploration of yourself and another, together understanding eachother and growing!! To be adopted would be like having someone accept the fact that my passion is in the arts. In a world so full of beautiful things it is amazing how little people pay attention. I want to learn from someone who looks at things instead of just seeing them. My interest is photography. Traditional photography, experimental photography, digital photography. A picture is not worth a thousand words, because a thousand words could not describe the wonders you can capture with the simple click of a button. A thousand words doesnt describe the feeling inside when you find the perfect subject, the perfect pose, the perfect inspiration. and a thousand words wont ever desribe how much someone adopting me would mean to me, so a hundred sixty sum will have to do their best!
